Shipping Info
You can expect speedy fulfillment on all of your orders. In most cases, your order is processed and shipped within 48 hours. (unless otherwise notified.) Many of the products we sell are drop shipped directly from warehouses around the country.
Although certain items are kept in stock, some products are custom made to order and require manufacturing time.
Expected ship dates are our best estimate based on past shipping times and are more than 90% accurate. Should an unexpected delay in shipping occur, we will notify you by e-mail (or letter) of the new projected shipping date and provide you with an opportunity to keep your order or cancel it for a prompt and complete refund.
In-stock items usually ship in 1-2 business days (weekends and holidays are not considered business days).
Please allow an additional 1 to 5 business days after the shipment date for delivery.

Once the item ships, please allow an additional 1-5 business days for delivery to your door. Because our products ship from warehouses and manufacturers across the US, exact shipping method and times will vary by item. Also, your items may not ship together or arrive at the same time. - Expedited Shipping

Free shipping
Here are the details:
- Shipping method will be selected by Car Guy Nation. Free Shipping orders will be delivered via a standard ground shipping method selected by Car Guy Nation or our direct-ship manufacturers/fulfillment centers. Express shipping orders are not eligible for Free Shipping.
- Offer does not apply to truck or freight shipments typical of oversized items. Some of the items we sell exceed the size limits for standard ground shipping and must be sent by truck or freight delivery. These items are labeled as oversized on their product information page, and will not include Free Shipping.
- Not available on international, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or APO/FPO orders. Only standard ground shipping orders to residential and commercial addresses in the continental US are eligible for Free Shipping.
- Car Guy Nation reserves the right to end or change this Free Shipping offer at any time.
Freight Items
Free Freight does not apply to truck or freight shipments typical of oversized items. Some of the items we sell exceed the size limits for standard ground shipping and must be sent by truck or freight delivery. These items are labeled as oversized on their product information page, and will not include Free Shipping. Please allow 7 to 10 business days for delivery once the item has been shipped. A carrier representative will call you to schedule a convenient time to deliver your item. Someone over the age of 18 may be required to be present to sign for the delivery and ID will be required for verification purposes.
Please be aware that your order will be delivered on a Tractor Trailer type vehicle and reasonable access needs to be available for the driver to safely maneuver his vehicle. The driver is only required to deliver your order to the Curb. Inside Delivery is not available for your order. It may also be necessary for someone to assist the Delivery Driver to safely unload your order if a Lift Gate is not available or requested. If Access or Assistance is going to be an issue, you may request to pick up your order at the Freight Company’s Loading Dock at no additional charge to you.
Packaging Damage
Prior to signing for your order please make sure to inspect the Packaging for any signs of damage. If any substantial damage is present that you feel may have affected your item please refuse the shipment and do not sign the delivery receipt. Once the order is refused, please contact us promptly at pitcrew@carguynation.com to file a claim so that we can process a replacement order.
If the damage to the package is minor and you feel your order has not been affected, you can still accept the shipment but make sure to note the delivery receipt with the exact nature of the damage and write on the delivery receipt “Subject to Concealed Damage.”
Immediately after receiving you order open and inspect your item for any signs of “Concealed Damage.” In the event that you encounter any damage, contact the carrier immediately to report the damage. The Carrier should be contacted no later than 48 hours after receipt of the shipment. You will need to retain your copy of the delivery receipt as well as all of the original packaging materials for proper claim documentation. If possible, digital photos should also be taken to further support any claims. Once you have contacted the carrier, please contact us promptly at pitcrew@carguynation.com to process a replacement order.
International Orders
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer International shipping at this time. We hope to offer this service in the future.
Return Policy
The vast majority of products available at Car Guy Nation are returnable. To initiate a return, you must request a Return Authorization Number (RA#) within 30 days of receipt of the product. All items must have an RA# and be received in a new, unused and ready-to-sell condition (including all original packaging, parts, and paperwork) to receive a refund, excluding any shipping costs.
Some products, such as radar detectors and engine programmers, require a 15% restocking fee and are subject to inspection before a credit is issued. Car Guy Nation does not accept returns on used items, custom-painted products, items considered to be special ordered or items shipped via truck freight.
Car Guy Nation will not reimburse labor charges or installation fees under any circumstances. Nor will Car Guy Nation reimburse for any damages incurred during installation or use of product.
Orders placed using PayPal or Bill Me Later must pass an inspection before any credit will be issued.
Return Procedure
All return items require a Return Authorization Number (RA#). To get an RA#, contact Car Guy Nation via e-mail at pitstop@carguynation.comto explain the reason why you would like to return your purchase. We'll call or email you within 24-48 hours (allow additional time for weekends and holidays) with an RA#. Shipments received without a valid RA# clearly posted on the outside of the box will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Car Guy Nation is not responsible for items returned without proper return information (customer's name, address and RA#) on or in the box. Log-in to your account here.
Defective Items
If an item arrives in an unacceptable condition as a result of a manufacturer defect, we will send you a pre-paid return shipping label. To get a shipping label and a valid RA#, see our full return procedure above. Once you've received the label and the RA#, ship the defective item as instructed by your customer care specialist. Once we've confirmed the package is in transit we'll ship you a replacement or credit your account.
Restocking Fees
Car Guy Nation does not charge a restocking fee for returning most items. However, for some items a restocking fee applies.
A 15% restocking fee also applies to the following:
- Shipments returned without a proper Return Authorization Number (RA#) clearly posted on the box
More information on getting an RA# - Orders placed for the incorrect model year of your vehicleBecause manufacturers are constantly changing vehicle designs, we do not guarantee an older part will fit a newer vehicle and vice versa. Ordering a product not specifically designed for your vehicle (for example, a 2006 model car cover ordered for a 2007 vehicle) is done at your own risk and will incur a restocking fee if returned.
Credits
All returned item(s) will be inspected upon receipt and must meet the following criteria for a credit:
- The item(s) must be returned in a new condition
All items returned for a refund or exchange must be in a new and ready-to-sell condition. This includes all installation hardware, instructions, packaging and paperwork. - The returned package must be clearly labeled with a proper Return Authorization Number (RA#)
Items returned without an RA# clearly displayed on the box will be charged a 15% restocking fee. For more information on how to obtain an RA#, click here.
Exchanges/Replacements
Items to be replaced must meet the same conditions as items returned to Car Guy Nation for a refund. Non-defective items returned for exchange must be in a new and ready-to-sell condition with all original packaging, paperwork and parts included. Defective items must also be returned with the same items included in the original order.
If you request a replacement, we will ship your new item after we receive and process your return. Please allow 5-10 business days to process your return once it has been received. A restocking fee may apply to certain products.
If you need a replacement item right away, we suggest placing a new order on our website, or email us at pitcrew@carguynation.com or call us at 800-874-8888 for expedited ordering. Express shipping charges may apply for rush orders.

Non-Returnable Products
Most of the items available at Car Guy Nation may be returned for full or partial credit. However, some items for your specific vehicle are not returnable. In the case of defect or our error, these items may be returned for full or partial credit, depending on the circumstances. The vast majority of our customers are extremely happy with their items and never need to return them.
Holiday Returns
During the holiday season, Car Guy Nation makes it easier than ever for you or your gift recipients to return items. On orders placed between Nov 26th and Dec 24th, you'll have up to 60 days from the time of delivery to return any item-double the standard 30-day policy. As with any of our returns, items must be in an unused, new condition and include original packaging and paperwork in order to receive a refund. All other standard return policies/procedures apply.
Core Charges
The sale of certain automotive parts comes with an additional core charge. The “Core Charge” is a form of a deposit you pay until returning the old part you have removed from your vehicle. The charge is refunded to you, when you return the core. Car Guy Nation is not responsible for return shipping on core items.
